Battery wont last 18 miles as promised but after all its a good scooter so im giving it 4 stars. 2 months so far with this product. BTW its too heavy to carry for a long a time

Easy to move to places and less tiring

It takes time for me to walk to my school and by buying this scooter it helps me gets to my school faster. From my place to my school is around ten minutes away and I have to walk, which is super tiring. The moment it arrived, I was super happy with it and it is super easy/ride. I would highly recommend this!

Fun Thanksgiving Gift for my son

My son was asking a electric scooter because his friend got one. I wasn’t sure if it’s too big for him after we put it together, he is 50inch and able to handle it pretty well. Easy take care and Stable.

A Great Lightweight Scooter for the Price

The Gotrax XR Elite Max is our 4th GoTrax purchase. We have two G4’s, an Eclipse, and now the GXL.
Setup: The XR Elite Max was easy to set up and we had it charged and operational in no time.
Physically: It is a lightweight scooter that folds easily and transports (in car) nicely.
Ride: My husband (6’6” – 220 lbs) used it to track my daughter and myself during a half-marathon for its maiden voyage. It is a smooth riding scooter that handles well over varied terrain (road, gravel, dirt). My husband normally rides the Eclipse. We bought this one for our kids.
Battery: So far, the battery life for us is going well. I will update when I can calculate what the initial charge allowed in mileage.
Difference with G4 (which is more expensive): One main difference between this scooter and the G4 is that the G4 has more pickup initially, but for me this was not a draw back as I am not as anxious to get to 20mph as fast as possible like the males in our family. 😉 I found it to have smooth acceleration. It reached 15mph on straightaways and reduced to 12mph on inclines which was expected.
The other difference is that is does not have a locking code. We use our scooters when we travel a lot to avoid having to find parking and usually use a scooter lock to secure them to a light post, etc. The code is an extra layer in the security. Since we lock all our scooters together it won’t hurt us, but if you were only riding this one and wanted to leave it unattended, you might want a version with a locking code although a physical lock is still effective.
Overall: This is a great, lightweight scooter for the price, and I do recommend it whole-heartedly! Their customer service has been responsive and very helpful! They really try to make sure the customer is satisfied and that is worth a lot!
