The button-activation is a super simple way to make electric scooter riding easier for your child. Follow these steps to teach your child how to properly ride their new electric scooter:
1. Have your child place there foot, whichever one they are more comfortable with, on the front button.
2. Tell them to push off as if they were on a non-electric scooter.
3. Have them practice transferring their foot from the ground to the second button.
4. Once they have done it correctly, they are ready to ride.
5. Have them brake by pressing the rear fender down on the tire
Repeat these steps until your child is comfortable doing it on their own with supervison. Be sure they are wearing helmets as well!

Our daughter has had the scooter for 9 months and we have not had any issues. She regularly accompanies us on 30-40 minute (1.5-2 mile) walks around the neighborhood with no problems. I generally, charge it when we get back because I do not know how long the battery really lasts and do not want it to die on the next walk.

This is a prize I bought for my daughter and she loves it. The advantage of this Electric Scooter is that the material is very good. But this Electric Scooter is a little taller for my daughter, and very faster in the beginning, so my daughter can't use it yet, but my husband and I have used it, and we feel that this Electric Scooter after starting up for a while，the ride is smooth and easily control.

The scooter takes 5 hours to charge but only goes about 4 miles per charge. The sticker on the scooter came off of the scooter about 1 week after I purchased the scooter. The scooter does go pretty fast and it takes about 8 and and a half minutes to drive a mile. Overall a good scooter especially for the price.
