Riders are concerned

Most of the time when your Hoverboard is not working properly it just means it’s time to calibrate it. Below are the instructions on how to calibrate the board: 

1. Start with the hoverboard powered off. Have the board leveled and unplugged from the charger.

2. Adjust the foot pedals until they are level with each other and the ground.

3. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Another beep will sound and the LED lights will flash.

4. Press the power button to turn off.

5. Press the power button to turn on.

6. Repeat this process 3 times to fully calibrate your Hoverboard. 

It is recommended by our experts to calibrate your Hoverboard before each use to make sure that your hoverboard is operating at peak performance.

Fun but learning curve

So this is going to be a lot of user error rather than the device. I still haven't mastered it and don't even trust doing without all the gear and a pillow around my booty.. all those fail videos preped me for this moment. Trying to balance as it starts moving under you is the hardest part of this as it feels like it just wants to take off and I get scared so I haven't done much with it but its really a nice hooverboard when I stop being chicken and use it.

Hard to Ride

This is the first time I am trying an electric hoverboard, and I must say, it is quite a bit more difficult than the electric ride on scooter I have tried.

The unit is very well built and much nicer than the ones I have seen at the big box stores and discount stores.

The hoverboard charges fairly quickly and turns on easily. The unit also has speakers for you to sync your phone to and play music while riding it.

The hoverboard was substantially more difficult to get used to and balance. It was quite scary to start, and I only got the hang of it using a walker to help me balance at first.

Once I got used to it, it was very fun to ride. I think this will do well for children and young adults.

This was fun to get set up and use. I did almost fall a few times but I got the hang of it. This is fun to use and I look forward to using it more when it warms up outside.

It's A Cool Toy

I've watched numerous videos of people having an easy time and a hard time learning how to ride a hoverboard. It definitely requires some practice, but it is easy to learn, and a good way to get to and from the corner store or anything within 5 miles round trip. This particular model has a self balancing feature that prevents your feet from moving too far forward or backward making it significantly easier to learn the footwork needed to navigate and stay on the board.

This board has a top speed of 6 mph and a range of 5 miles, so it can be ridden for about an hour before needing a recharge. Avg recharge for the 200w motor is approx 4 hours. It also has lighting on the edges and wheels and a Bluetooth speaker that sounds ok - def not great, but good enough to not have to carry a separate speaker.

All in all I think this is better for a younger person/teenager instead of a middle aged adult (I'm 47) but I did have fun riding and testing this hoverboard and believe that it's a safe and enjoyable way to pass a little time.

Lots of fun. It lights up. Pretty color. The battery dies kind of quickly but my 8 year old is enjoying learning how to ride it
